Nord Puglia Cerignola Cantina di famiglia

Vineyard, wind, and limestone. The character of Cerignola in the glass.

At Podere Belmantello we grow native grapes and create wines with an elegant and territorial profile

Our Story

For more than seventy years, among the sun-drenched lands of Cerignola, our family has nurtured a passion that smells of must and wind.

It all begins with a few vines of Primitivo, Nero di Troia, Negroamaro, Faslanghina, and Fiano, cared for like children, when the vine was still work and hope.

Today, as then, we cultivate our vineyards with our hands and our hearts, transforming each bunch of grapes into a tale of earth, sun, and authenticity.

Each bottle is a piece of our history—a toast to Puglia and to those who recognize its soul.

The Territory

Our heart beats in Cerignola, among the rolling hills of the Tavoliere plateau, where the sun kisses the earth and the sea breeze carries the scents of salt and wheat. Here, among clay and limestone soils, our native grape varieties—Primitivo, Nero di Troia, Negramaro, Falanghina, and Fiano—find their most authentic expression. Each bunch of grapes is born from an ancient balance, made of light, hard work, and respect for nature. It is this generous land that gives character to our wines: intense, sincere, and deeply rooted in Puglia, like those who produce them.
